I do rather feel as if
BSNYC has been beating me to what few punches I have in me in that his latest bloggular unit,
“Sitting In and Bowing Out: The Art of Pass/Fail Racing” covers several topics that came into play this weekend at Madera.
Anyway, I’ve lately been feeling that perhaps when it comes to road racing, I’ll end up as a one-hit wonder; however, when I started to think about it, I realized that it’s not that I’m slow, it’s just that I’m racing against borderline cheaters: powermeters, training plans, coaches, tapering, structured workouts, intervals.
They’re riding their bike with German regularity and precision and it’s borderline cheating in my book.
Maybe it’s time for a new book.
